🚒 Thank you to Premier Coatings - Brick Paver Cleaning, Sealing and Restoration for visiting Station 12 in Holiday today with the new Tesla Cyber Truck! Crews from Station 12, 17, and Truck 1 had the opportunity to check out features that could be invaluable in case of an emergency. With the increasing number of electric vehicles on the market, understanding their unique designs helps first responders stay prepared. 🇺🇸 Today, during Military Appreciation Month, we honor Firefighter Paramedic Danielle Barnett.
Danielle has served in the US Army Reserves since 2006 as a 31B, Military Police. She was deployed to Mosul, Iraq from 2008-2009 with the 302 MP Company, aiding in training the Iraqi Police Force. From 2010-2011, she served in various regions in Afghanistan with the US Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the 320th MP Company, conducting base security missions. Currently, she serves as a 31B/31E instructor in the 2-108th MP Battalion, in West Palm Beach. Danielle reflects, "Being in those war-torn third world countries has taught me to appreciate the little things that a lot of people seem to take for granted. Having clean water, food, a bed, a roof over my head, freedom, the opportunity to get an education, etc ... such simple things that so many people don't have. I am blessed to have had a multitude of experiences over the years (some good, some bad) and it's all shaped me into the person I am today".
Thank you, Danielle, for your continuing service to our country! 🌟 #MilitaryAppreciationMonth #PCFR4420 #IAFFoffical #USArmyReserves
