🇺🇸 Today, during Military Appreciation Month, we honor Captain Paramedic Ed Alfonso from Station 29 A Shift. Ed served 7 years in the United States Air Force from 1989-1995 as a C130E/H Mobile Aerial Port Instructor Loadmaster. He was deployed to Panama in 1989 for air land missions in support of Operation Just Cause, and in 1990-1991 to Saudi Arabia for Operation Desert Storm. From 1992-1993, he was in Mombasa, Kenya, supporting Operation Provide Relief in Somalia, and in 1994-1995, he flew special operations missions in Bosnia in support of UN missions. Captain Alfonso concluded his military career with 2 Air Medals, 2 Aerial Achievement Medals, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, and many others.
