🧠💚 On May 6th, 2025, Pasco County Professional Firefighters President Dixon Phillips spoke at the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners meeting about mental health in the fire service.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and President Phillips took the opportunity to highlight the important steps Pasco County is taking to support its firefighters — and to recognize everyone who has helped make our mental health program a success. 🙌🔥
Each commissioner was presented with a commemorative shirt 👕, and a group photo was taken to mark the occasion. 📸

Early Morning Fire Response
Just after 5:30 AM, C Shift Battalion 2 units responded to a working structure fire in the area of Sparkle Lane and Mile Stretch Rd. Flames were showing on arrival, but crews quickly went to work to bring the fire under control.
Great job by all units involved for their quick and aggressive response!
